About SoulFire Ministries

SoulFire Ministries is a nondenominational church and sacred integrative holistic health sharing ministry seeking to cultivate the power of natural God-given modalities of healing, harmony, mindset, and inspiration to the lives of whom we serve. We provide a private health sharing ministry membership and seminary through the services of our generous ordained ministers, elders, and teachers. We offer a holistic approach to healing the mind, body, soul and heart space through fundraising with our services (education, regular services, counseling, indigenous and natural medicine, workshops, rituals, private retreats, ceremonies, seminars) and one on one pastoral counseling and natural scripture-based healing services. 

Our private, personal spiritual and wellness retreats are offered at our 6.5 acre wilderness cottage at SoulFire Sanctuary in the Greater Chattanooga/ North Georgia area, just 1 mile from Chickamauga Lake. 

We encourage the use of and strive to share ALL natural healing arts. Some of these include Reiki and other forms of energy healing such as sound, earth and cosmic medicine, food as medicine, biomagnetic and somatic healing, shamanic arts and healing medicine such as folk medicine, healing ceremonies, painting, pottery, dance, song, poetry, performance, music, and creative arts.

Select personal sacred guidance, education, seminary, and holistic healing services are available to our members at a reduced-fee, pay it forward, or donation basis. We also offer half day, all day, or multiple day classes and events with our ministers, doctors, and leaders that create powerful shifts in the collective - teaching individuals, families, and small groups how to break free from psychological/spiritual blocks and physical barriers to wellness caused by dis-ease, anxieties, depression, and anger issues. 

We provide spiritual support and education to our members through ordination, general studies, and graduate degree programs via SoulFire Alchemy Academy, SoulFire Ministries' seminary and education center, expanding you through the alchemy of many ancient wisdoms and "the cutting edge" including NLP techniques for a high quality life, energy medicine, shamanic energy medicine, interfaith theological studies, multidisciplinary metaphysical science, monastic herbal and homeopathic medicine, and holistic nutrition both online and in person. Our Ministers, Professors, and Practitioners are well seasoned in years with 40+ combined experience.

Our senior minister, Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Harrell is a PhD Metaphysician and holds a Doctorate of Divinity. She is the founder of SoulFire Ministries, an ordained esoteric interfaith minister and shaman, a holistic counselor for body, mind, and soul, as well as a singer, storyteller, healer, reiki master, student of sacred arts and sciences, and Near Death Experiencer. Rooted in more than 27 years experience in alternative healing arts and 10 years in ministry, she is humbled to answer this divine calling to begin, lead, and nurture a church, healing ministry, and seminary academy.  Our unique approach to these challenges include Earth Based and Bible Based Spiritual and other Sacred Indigenous and Ancient Wisdom Practices. Our fundraising projects, services, and seminary are designed to assist our community members in need, and raise money for the ministry to continue this mission - the first of it's kind, in the southern Appalachian region!  

Our mission is to expand enrichment of the Appalachian Healing Arts and provide Sacred Services, Education, Personal Retreats, and Pastoral Holistic Medicine in order to engender spiritual growth for our community and members.

Our faith based non profit organization gives back through free and donation-based services, educational lectures, workshops, classes and various fundraising projects for disaster relief, trauma, bereavement, emotional, and spiritual healing and well being.

Donations for services allows for you to donate what you can (a little or a lot), thereby granting scholarship to those who may not be able to pay much at all. It is through our mission and our sincere wishes that your life be filled and surrounded with environments and people who can lend the ease, grace, and comfort it takes to move through our most challenging, and even rewarding times.

Our latest charitable project is "Appalachian SoulFire Hurricane Helene Relief" project. This project helped save personal property and help rebuild homes lost for the families, individuals, and small businesses in the area.

"SoulFire Ministries was inspired recently by the transition of Rev. Dr. Harrell's father and brother in 2023. "Losing a brother at age 12 brought death to my doorstep early. The recent passing of my oldest brother and father this past year has been difficult, but as a shaman, doctor, interfaith minister, visionary, and teacher, I have processed a tremendous amount of childhood trauma as well as death in many forms - including my two brothers, my father, many others, and even MY SELF.  It is just time to move forward with helping others get through the hardships of life-- with soulfire." said Rev.
